Signal Faulty. Intermittent Fault
Signal faulty. Intermittent fault
Checking the wiring and sensor
Check the connections of the ABS control unit and the pedal pressure sensor for contact resistance and oxidation, as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the wiring between pedal pressure sensor:
- #1 and control unit #13 (#A13)
- #2 and control unit #29 (#A29)
- #5 and control unit #32 (#A32)
for an intermittent open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults , an intermittent short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults , and an intermittent short circuit to voltage supply as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Do the necessary corrective action.
