Check the brake pedal sensor resistance between #1 and #2, for resistance values see Brake pedal sensor. Check the terminals visually according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Remedy as necessary.

Other information:
- For information about signals, see Signal specification
- With the ignition on and the brake pedal sensor connector disconnected, the voltage between clutch pedal position sensor #2 and ground should be approximately 5 V.
- With the brake pedal sensor connector disconnected, brake pedal sensor #4 (engine control module side) should be connected to ground.
