Checking Component And Wiring







Check cable between engine control module (ECM) connector #B9 (#B19) and accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor #6 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Remedy as necessary.

- To connect the breakout box, see Connecting the breakout box.
- To access/replace the accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor, see Replacing the accelerator pedal module.
- Before replacing engine control module (ECM), see Engine control module (ECM), replacing.
- For information about signals, see Signal specification.
- The accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor #6 should give a voltage of approximately 5 V.
