Extended diagnostic trouble code (DTC) reading

Reading off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), engine control module (ECM)

Hint: Where possible, the engine should always be running when reading off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). This is to obtain the correct status from the engine control module (ECM).
This also applies to internal fault-tracing.




- Start the engine. Let it idle for at least 15 seconds.
Click on the VCT2000 symbol to read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
