Checking the connectors and cables
Check the electronic module for lock and alarm (VGLA), connector (B). Check the connector for the switch for temporary sensor disengagement. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Fault-trace the cable between terminal #4 on the connector for the switch and terminal #B17(#A43) on the connector for the VGLA control module. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Fault-trace the ground lead between terminal #2 on the connector for the switch and ground. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Fault-trace the cable between terminal #4 on the connector for the switch and terminal #B17(#A43) on the connector for the VGLA control module. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
