Replacing the car-phone holder

Removing the car-phone holder





Note! The base / lower section does not need to be detached if only the upper section with the antenna cable is being replaced.

Remove the car-phone.
Remove the center console according to Replacing the rear center tunnel console / center console Replacing the Rear Center Tunnel Console / Center Console.
Turn the center console on its side.
Cut the clamps off the wiring.
Remove the four screws for the cover as illustrated.
Remove the cover.

Removing the control module




Pull off the control module. Disconnect the cable for the car-phone.
Pull out the cable for the antenna / car-phone and the holder.

Replacing the holder




Separate the holder by pressing it together and working the upper section up and off as illustrated.




Remove the rivets for the holder.

Installing the car-phone holder

Installing holders
Install the holder using four rivets.
Install in reverse order.
