DTC ECM-120A

Condition
The engine speed (RPM) must be higher than 1,500 rpm. Load above 10 grams per second. The engine coolant temperature (ECT) must be below 50°C. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-120A is stored if the control module registers that the temperature of the intake air is more than 60 deg C for approximately 15 seconds.

Possible source

Faulty signal:
- defective intake air temperature (IAT) sensor internally in the mass air flow (MAF) sensor
- contact resistance in the connectors.
