DTC ECM-950F

Condition
The engine control module (ECM) has registered a difference between the analog and pulse width modulated signal from the accelerator pedal (AP). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-950F is stored in the engine control module (ECM).

Substitute value
- the accelerator pedal (AP) is ignored when braking
- slow response during acceleration.

Possible source
- the power supply to the accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor
- loose connections or contact resistance in the terminals on the analog signal cable
- fault in the pulse width modulated signal cable between the engine control module (ECM) and the throttle unit
- defective accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor
- defective throttle unit.

Fault symptom[s]
- the accelerator pedal (AP) is ignored when braking
- slow response during acceleration
- the ETS warning lamp lights (C70 and S/V70 -2000 only).
