Faulty Signal
Faulty signal
Checking the connector
- Ignition off
- Check the pressure sensor connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
- Ignition on
- Read off the pressure in the pressure sensor
- Start the engine. Depress and release the accelerator pedal (AP). Check that the voltage of the pressure sensor changes.
Does the pressure change by more than 0.1Volt?
Yes - DONE
No - Checking the component

Checking the component
Check that the hose between the pressure gauge and intake pipe. Check for damage and leakage.
Remedy as necessary.

If the fault is intermittent, do not verify fault-tracing if the fault does not recur.
It is possible to view the information again, or leave fault-tracing for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
