Condition




- The fault is permanent.
- The control module is correctly connected.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the cable between fuse 5 in the integrated relay/fusebox and control module connector terminal 5.
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in the cable between fuse 5 and control module connector terminal 5.
- Defective switch.

Fault symptom[s]
- The vehicle speed does not decrease when SET- is activated.
- The cruise control does not engage.
- The vehicle speed decreases constantly.
