DTC ECM-120D

Condition







The engine control module (ECM) checks the signals from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-120D is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the signal from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor does not change over a period of time. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) ECM-120D can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

Substitute value
- The value for the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor is set to the same temperature as the outside temperature.

Possible source
- Contact resistance
- Defective intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
