DTC ECM-260A

Condition







The engine control module (ECM) checks the signals from the fuel pressure sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-260A is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the signal from the fuel pressure sensor does not change when the fuel pump (FP) activation changes.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-260A can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

Substitute value
- The fuel pressure is set to a substitute value.

Possible source
- Contact resistance
- Defective fuel pressure sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The engine misfires.
