Condition







The engine control module (ECM) checks the control signal to the fuel pump control module.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-2610 is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine control module (ECM) registers a fault in the control signal to the fuel pump control module.

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) ECM-2610 can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

Signal too high
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
- Defective fuel pump control module.

Signal too low
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
- Open-circuit in the signal cable
- Defective fuel pump control module.

- The engine stops.
