DTC ECM-91AC

Condition
The engine control module (ECM) checks that the throttle follows the requested angle.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-91AC is stored if a fault related to the engine or control of the engine in the electronic throttle module (ETM) is detected.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-91AC can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute value
- The cruise control is disengaged when the fault is active.

Possible source

Throttle jammed
- The throttle has jammed
- Defective electronic throttle unit (ETM).

Faulty signal
- Defective engine control module (ECM).

Actuator current too high
- Short-circuit to supply voltage or ground in the wiring for the actuator
- Open-circuit in the wiring for the actuator
- Defective electronic throttle unit (ETM).

Fault symptom[s]
- Cruise control does not function at all.
