DTC ECM-940C

Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-940C is stored if the engine control module (ECM) is unable to communicate with the brake control module (BCM) or if the brake control module (BCM) receives a faulty signal from the brake pedal position sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-940C can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

- The cruise control is disengaged when the fault is active.
