Checking the wiring and component
Check the cable between the ignition's #50 and starter motor relay's #2 as well as between starter motor relay's #2 and the control module's #B23 for intermittent short-circuiting to voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off.
- Reconnect connectors, reinstall components
- Operate the starter motor.
- Read off the signal from ignition switch.
It should be ON.
