Checking for intermittent faults




- Ignition on
- Read off the system voltage.
Voltage should be approximately battery voltage.





Is the system voltage OK?

Yes - DONE

No - Checking the wiring and component

Checking the wiring and component
Check the circuit between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B11 and the battery. Check for an open-circuit. See the relevant applicable wiring diagram.

- Ignition off.
- Reconnect connectors, reinstall components
- Ignition on.
- Read off system voltage.
Voltage should be approximately battery voltage.
