Faulty signal

Checking components and connections




- Start the engine
- Activate reading off the voltage from the fuel pressure sensor
- Check that the voltage is between 0.5 V and 4.5 V. Check that the voltage is not constant at throttle opening
- Ignition off.
Check the engine control module (ECM) and fuel pressure sensor connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Remedy as necessary.
