Check signal cable between control module #B44 (#B54) and air conditioning (A/C) relay #4 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.

Checking the wiring and component
Check the signal cable between control module terminal #B44 (#B54) and air conditioning (A/C) relay terminal #4. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off.
- Reconnect connectors, reinstall components
- Ignition on.
- Activate air conditioning (A/C) relay.
A click should be heard from the relay when it is activated.
