Checking the throttle
Hint: A film of oil covering the throttle may mean that the flame trap is not functioning correctly.
- Ignition on
- Activate reading off the position of the throttle
- Check that both sensors indicate values within the permitted range at different deployments.
Small objects can cause the throttle disc to jam momentarily. This may cause the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) to be stored.
Check if the throttle unit is blocked. Press the throttle disc to check for jamming.
Remedy as necessary.
