Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-4340

Condition
The engine control module (ECM) receives confirmation that the request of the fuel tank filler cover has been transmitted to the locking relay from the central electronic module (CEM). Locking must occur at 7 km/h.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the vehicle speed exceeds 7 km/h without the signal from the central electronic module (CEM) being received.

- Loose connections or contact resistance in the terminals for the controller area network (CAN)
- Damaged wiring for the control area network (CAN)
- Interference on the CAN signal wiring
- Another node in the high-speed control area network (CAN) is damaged.
