Checking the wiring and component
Check the resistance for the front heated oxygen sensor's coil between #1 and #2. At 20 °C the resistance should be approx. 1.0 ohms.
Check the cable between control module #A18 and front heated oxygen sensor #2 for short-circuit to voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

- Reconnect connectors, reinstall components
- Ignition on
- Read off the heater element resistance in the front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
The resistance should be 0.5-3 ohms at 20°C.
