Boost pressure sensor 1, replacing

Removing the charge air pressure sensor




clean the area in the charge air cooler intended for the pressure sensor.
Unplug the connector.
Remove the nut.
Press the two projecting edges (A) outward and pull the pressure sensor straight up from the charge air cooler.
Clean the connection in the charge air cooler.

Installing the charge air pressure sensor




Carefully check the rubber seal and apply a bit of Vaseline.
Make sure the pressure sensor is facing right side up before pressing it down into the charge air cooler.
Check that the two projecting edges (A) enclose the pressure sensor and hold it in place.
Reinstall the nut and tighten to 10 Nm. Plug in the connector.

Finishing
Start the engine and check for leaks.
Check that the charge air pressure sensor works properly.
Read off the diagnostic trouble codes and then clear them.
