Possible source
- Defective fuse number 5 (25A) in the integrated relay/fusebox in the engine compartment
- Contact resistance and oxidation in the terminals
- Open-circuit or short-circuit to ground in the cable between the relay (rear windshield demister, door mirrors) and the integrated relay/fusebox in the engine compartment
- Open-circuit or short-circuit to ground in the cables between the relay (rear windshield demister, door mirrors) and the heated rear windshield and door mirrors
- Open-circuit in the ground lead for the demister for the rear windshield and door mirrors
- Defective relay (demister for the rear windshield and door mirrors)
- Defective heater pad in the rear windshield or door mirrors.
