DESCRIPTION:

Depending upon the outside ambient temperature, drivers may experience excessive airflow on the top of the foot/ankle from the floor vent. This may be more noticeable when the CCM is set to Auto position.

From chassis 079858, the airflow from the drivers side floor vent has been modified to improve air distribution.

SERVICE:

If customer complaint fits the above description and is within the chassis break, perform the following on the drivers side floor vent:





1. Cut out an 'L' shape from foam (PIN 8693028) using the template shown.

*Note! Scale 1:1.
Be sure to cut on the inside of the line. On the foam, cut the shape on the side without glue.





2. Remove the drivers side floor vent panel.





3. Apply the foam to the back side of the floor vent panel as shown.





4. Shown is a picture of the finished product.

5. Reinstall floor vent panel
