INTRODUCTION

- Cut out the text page in order to follow the illustrations and text at the same time.
Trip computer
- Turn the ignition key to position 0
- Move the steering wheel to its rearmost position.
- Carefully pry the upper steering column cover off the lower cover. Using a plastic weatherstrip tool, pry at the rear edge in the join between the steering column covers. The steering column covers are secured to each other by catches (1) on the inside
- Fold the upper steering column cover towards the combined instrument panel. Secure it in the folded up position.
- Remove the upper screws (1) from the lower steering column cover
- Unscrew the lower screw (2) a few turns
- Fold the lower steering column cover down slightly, so that the mounting point for the left-hand control stalk is exposed.
- Remove the left-hand control stalk. First remove the two screws. Then carefully pull the stalk outwards until it releases from the connector on the inside.
- Press the new stalk into place where the old one was positioned. Tighten the stalk using the existing screws
- Reinstall the lower steering column cover. Tighten
- Reinstall the upper steering column cover.
- Program the function using VCT2000 in VIDA.
