Rear Door Window Glass: Service and Repair
Rear side window

Preparatory work
Adjusting the window position
Lower the window to half way.
Removal
Removing the rear side window
Remove:
- the door panel as described in Panel rear door Panel Rear Door
- the panel. It is secured with 3 hidden clips
- the 2 rivets. See: Removing rivets
- the 2 screws.
Note! Loosen the screws by 2 turns only. Otherwise there is a risk of the screws falling down inside the door.
Remove:
- the outer weatherstrip
- the inner weatherstrip.
Remove:
- the window trim (1)
- the glass channel (2).
Lift the window up and out. Remove the window.
Installation

Installing the rear side window
Install the window.
Note! Ensure that the window is correctly located in relation to the glass channel and the lift rail.
Fully open the window.
Install:
- the glass channel (2)
- the window trim (1)
- 2 rivets
- the outer weatherstrip
- the inner weatherstrip.
Raise the window until the screws securing the window can be tightened.
Install the 2 M6 screws. Tighten.
Raise the window fully. Check that the window is correctly positioned in relation to the strips and glass channels.
Check the function of the power window mechanism.
Note! If the window is in the wrong position, lower the window, loosen the screws securing the window, and adjust the position of the window.
Install:
- the panel using the 3 clips
- the door panel as described in Panel rear door Panel Rear Door.
