Checking components and wiring
Check the cable that relates to the diagnostic trouble code (DTC). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check between:
- Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A50 (#A50) and ignition coil terminal #2 (ECM-360C, ignition coil 1)
- Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A51 (#A51) and ignition coil terminal #2 (ECM-361C, ignition coil 2)
- Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A30 (#A30) and ignition coil terminal #2 (ECM-362C, ignition coil 3)
- Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A49 (#A49) and ignition coil terminal #2 (ECM-363C, ignition coil 4)
- Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A31 (#A31) and ignition coil terminal #2 (ECM-364C, ignition coil 5)
- Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A52 (#A52) and ignition coil terminal #2 (ECM-365C, ignition coil 6).
Remedy as necessary.
