Preparatory work

Remove the spring front. See: Spring, M56, MPS6, M66, MMT6, MTX75, IB5, AW55-50/51SN Front Suspension Spring, AW50/51 AWD, M66 AWD Front Suspension.

Removal

Removing the shock absorber bearing





Remove:
- the 3 x screws
- the spacer washer
- the shock absorber bearing.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Specifications

Installing the shock absorber bearing

Install:
- the new shock absorber bearing
- the spacer washer
- the 3 x M8 screws.

Finishing

Install the spring front. See: Spring, AW50/51 AWD, M66 AWD Front Suspension Spring, M56, MPS6, M66, MMT6, MTX75, IB5, AW55-50/51SN Front Suspension.
