Condition




The Differential Electronic Module (DEM) checks if the signal from the control valve is appropriate by comparing the signal with predefined limit values.
If the control unit registers a faulty signal, i.e. a current value (amperes) that is outside the predefined limits, the trouble code is set.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

Substitute value
- Four wheel drive is disengaged.

Possible source
- The signal cable is short-circuited to ground.
- Interruption of power supply.

Fault symptom[s]
- Four wheel drive is not functioning.
