Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S), Replacing

Replacing components

Removing the front heated oxygen sensor HO2S)
Slacken off and disconnect the connector for the front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
Raise the vehicle.

Remove:
- the lower engine cover
- the front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). Use tool 999 5543.

Installing the front heated oxygen sensor HO2S)

Install:







- the front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). the lower engine cover. Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the connector for the front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). Secure the cable harness in the clips and clamps.

Replacing components

Removing the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)







Raise the vehicle. Disconnect the connector for the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
Disconnect the cable harness from the front SIPS member.
Remove the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). Use tool 999 5543.

Installing the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)
Install the rear floor hatch. Connect the connector for the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) and secure the cable harness in the front SIPS member.
Lower the vehicle.

Finishing

Checks
Start the engine. Check the function of the engine.
Check for leakage.
