Checking components and connectors
Check the connector for contact resistance and oxidation. See Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
If there is no contact resistance or oxidation in the connector, try a new knock sensor (KS).
Remedy as necessary.
