DESCRIPTION:

There may be a clicking noise from the steering column when turning due to a material deviation in the steering column.

PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
New parts within specification have been introduced in production at structure week 2008w45.

SERVICE:
Start by eliminating other noise sources like:
- Contact reel
- Plastic covers on steering column
- Wiper and turn stalks

Note!
Check repair history for and steering and suspension related repairs and make sure all components are secure.

If the noise is still present after removing or inspecting the components above then order and replace the steering column according to VIDA.
