Communication fault
The communication between VCT2000 and the vehicle has failed for one of the following reasons:
- Battery voltage too low
- One of the control modules is not responding
- The ignition is off.
Ensure that:
- Battery voltage exceeds 12 V
- The ignition is on.
If the battery voltage is correct, check which control module is faulty.
If you decide not to make a new attempt the download is canceled. The software package must be loaded again.

Mismatches in FYON
A comparison with FYON indicates that the data in the software package does not match the data stored in the vehicle.
Ensure that:
1. The correct software function has been ordered for the specific vehicle (i.e. that the correct chassis number was entered)
2. The correct software function has been selected for downloading
3. The VIN is correct (i.e. the correct vehicle is connected to the VIDA PC).
In order to correct a fault according to the above alternative 1, the software function must be reordered before a new attempt can be carried out.
It is possible to attempt alternatives 2 or 3 again without making a new order.
Select "Continue" to complete the software download and to order the software function again and / or make a new attempt.

Faults during downloads
A fault has occurred during the download. A control module may not be completely loaded.
The software download can proceed without software being ordered. However the download must be repeated.
Wait until the detailed vehicle information has been updated in the central Volvo database.
When the software can be downloaded again, the Volvo database has been updated and the software package can be reloaded.
Caution! If other software is ordered and downloaded into the vehicle, the incorrectly loaded control module will remain incompletely loaded.
In the event of problems, a reload for the central electronic module (CEM) can be ordered and downloaded into the vehicle.
The software function can be found in the replacement parts information, function group 34.

Possible reasons for the vehicle information not corresponding with the software package:
- The vehicle has not been correctly updated on a previous occasion.
To correct non-matching information problems select "Continue" to update the Volvo database.
The software package will be retrievable and can be reloaded.
Carry out the following:

- Download the retrievable software package again.

The detailed vehicle information in the software package obtained does not correspond to the information stored in the vehicle. Incorrectly aligned information was due to the incorrect software being ordered.
The correct software for the component must be ordered when replacing a component.
