Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-2B0A

Condition

The engine control module (ECM) checks the signal from the fuel temperature sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) detects that the value from the fuel temperature sensor deviates too much from the values for engine coolant and intake temperature after the engine has been switched off for an extended period.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is diagnosed once per operating cycle when the ignition is switched on, but only when the engine temperature has dropped by approximately 60 °C from operating temperature (>70 °C) since the previous operating cycle.

Substitute value
- The fuel temperature is set to a calculated value.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in the connectors
- Damaged fuel temperature sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- None.
