Condition
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the car's radiator with the help of a Premair sensor. The sensor communicates with the engine control module (ECM) via LIN-communication. LIN is a standardized serial communication method (Local Interconnect Network). The sent information is encrypted.
The purpose of the sensor is to ensure that the right radiator is fitted on the vehicle.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the signal from the Premair sensor is incorrect (Wrong signal).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be scanned 10 minutes after thermostat opening (engine temperature >90 °C) when the engine has cooled completely since the previous operating cycle.

Note! The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed whilst driving.Stationary vehicle with engine running stops diagnostics.
