Valve Clearance: Specifications

Adjusting the Valve Clearance (at approx. 20° C/ 68° F)
First step: Remove valve tappet. Read off thickness from underside.
Second step: Calculate required thickness of valve lifter to be used. The thickness of existing valve lifter + measured valve clearance = required valve clearance.

Note! The number on the valve lifter corresponds to the thickness of the valve lifter.

Final step: Install correct valve tappet.
