Removal

Perform cooling system draining, charging and bleeding Refer to: Service and Repair

Remove the following items:
- air cleaner (ACL) housing Refer to: Air cleaner housing, B8444S Service and Repair
- battery Refer to: Battery Removal and Replacement
- Upper torque rod Refer to: Upper torque rod, B6304T2, B6324S, B8444S Upper Torque Rod
- the auxiliaries belt Refer to: Auxiliary belt, B8444S Service and Repair
- the catalytic converter Refer to: Catalytic converter, B8444S, TF-80SC AWD Service and Repair

Remove the following items:
- Position sensor, suspension front Refer to: Position sensor, suspension front Position Sensor, Suspension Front
- the wheel Refer to: Wheels Service and Repair
- Engine control module (ECM) Refer to: Engine control module (ECM), B8444S Engine Control Module (ECM)

Perform depressurizing fuel system Refer to: Fuel system pressure release Fuel System Pressure Release





Caution! Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

Note! Note the position of the component before removal.

Caution! Make sure that the steering wheel is not rotated while the clockspring is locked in position.

Note! Make sure that the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.









Caution! Make sure that no components catch.
