Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B102652
Condition
Central electronic module (CEM) is responsible for voltage feed to Steering column lock module (SCL). The voltage feed to Steering column lock module (SCL) checks the Driver information module (DIM) which controls the feed via an internal relay in the Central electronic module (CEM). Central electronic module (CEM) checks signals on the CAN-net showing that the engine is off and that the vehicle is not moving. Thereafter a request is sent to Driver information module (DIM) to activate the voltage feed.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Driver information module (DIM) does not consider that it is allowed to activate voltage feed to Steering column lock module (SCL).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- All ignition positions.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Fault in the control area network (CAN).
- Internal fault in the central electronic module (CEM).
- Internal error in Driver information module (DIM).
