Condition
The Phone module (PHM) registers an open-circuit or short-circuit to supply voltage on the cable for the telephone antenna signal.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Open-circuit on the cable for the telephone antenna signal from the antenna to the Phone module (PHM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position I and II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.

Possible source
- Open-circuit on the cable for the telephone antenna signal from the antenna to the Phone module (PHM).
- The cable for the telephone antenna signal, between the antenna and Phone module (PHM), has a short-circuit to supply voltage or open-circuit.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections in the connectors.
