Calibration fault

Calibrating the component
- Ignition on
- Light switch in position 2.
Check that the position sensors are correctly installed.
Ensure that the car is unladen and is on a flat surface.
To program the gas discharge lamp module (GDL) with vehicle parameters and to calibrate the position sensor, see Calibration of position sensor, GDL lamps Testing and Inspection.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
- Light switch in position 2.
Switch between high and low beam.
Check that the function is OK.
