Fault-tracing information
Check the cable between Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #H:17 and Mass movement sensor module (MMS) terminal #3.
- Connect the breakout box adapter to the central electronic module (CEM).
- Take readings between Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #H:17 (#31) and terminal #A:14 (#14). Also take readings between Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #H:17 and Mass movement sensor module (MMS) terminal #3. Locate any short-circuits to voltage or ground. There should be no contact with power supply or ground.
If no fault is found on the cable, replace the Mass movement sensor module (MMS).
Remedy as necessary.

Verification
Check that the fault has been rectified by performing a new test for the DTC.
- Disconnect any battery chargers.
- Close doors, hood, and tailgate.
- Activate the alarm with the remote key.
Note! If the vehicle is equipped with a Keyless vehicle module (KVM), the remote key must be positioned approx. 10 meters away from the vehicle in order to activate the alarm.
- Read off the DTCs in VIDA and check that CEM-CFF0 has changed status to intermittent.
Is the status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) intermittent?
Yes - FAULT FOUND
No - ???
