Removal

Remove the following items:
- wiper motor rear, Refer to: Rear wiper motor Service and Repair
- handle outer tailgate. Refer to: Outer tailgate/trunk lid handle Service and Repair
- panel roof sill. Refer to: Cant rail panel Cantrail Panel
- panel C/D-pillar. Refer to: C/D-pillar trim panel C/D-Pillar Trim Panel
- spoiler rear. Refer to: Spoiler rear, B5254T7 Spoiler Rear, Replacing
- spoiler rear (T5). Refer to: Spoiler rear, B5254T7 Spoiler Rear, Replacing





Torque: M8, 24 Nm


















Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Installation

Install in reverse order.
Adjust tailgate. Refer to: Doors and hatches
