Signal too low

Checking the component and wiring
Check the cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B8 (#C8) and system relay coil terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the power supply to the starter motor.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
Check that the starter motor is not running when the ignition switch is in position 2 (ignition position).
Check that the starter motor is running when the ignition switch is in position 3 (starting position).
