Internal Fault
Internal fault
Replacing the component
The siren control module (SCM) has registered an internal fault in the internal vehicle tilt sensor.
The status of the vehicle tilt sensor can be read off. Click on the VCT2000 symbol and check parameter "Alarm status, fault in vehicle tilt sensor" read off the value. The value must read "False".
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can be caused by interference at start up of the siren control module (SCM) or may be a different type of fault which occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. If the fault recurs, replace the siren control module (SCM).
Replace the siren control module (SCM) in the event of a permanent fault.
Note! Ensure that the correct variant (siren with internal vehicle tilt sensor) is installed when replacing.
Remedy as necessary.
