Removal

Remove the following items:
- VVT unit
- engine cooling fan (FC) Refer to: Engine cooling fan (FC) Service and Repair
- Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) Refer to: Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) Service and Repair

Note! Note the position of each component before removal.

Installation

Use: Chemical gasket, 30757050

Torque: Cylinder head Stage 1: 40 Nm Stage 2: 90 degree

951 2050 BEVEL PROTRACTOR 951 2050 Bevel Protractor

Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Install the following items:
- Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) Refer to: Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) Service and Repair
- engine cooling fan (FC) Refer to: Engine cooling fan (FC) Service and Repair
- VVT unit
