Removal

Perform cooling system draining, charging and bleeding Refer to: Cooling system - draining, charging and bleeding, B6324S4, B6324S5, B6304T4 Service and Repair

Remove the following items:
- air cleaner (ACL) housing Refer to: Air cleaner housing Service and Repair
- battery Refer to: Battery Removal and Replacement
- Upper torque rod Refer to: Upper torque rod, B6324S4, B6324S5, B6304T4 Upper Torque Rod
- the auxiliaries belt Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt Service and Repair
- the catalytic converter Refer to: Catalytic converter Service and Repair

Remove the following items:
- Position sensor, suspension front Refer to: Position sensor, suspension front Service and Repair
- the wheel Refer to: Wheels Service and Repair
- Engine control module (ECM) Refer to: Engine control module (ECM) Service and Repair

Caution! Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

Caution! Make sure that the steering wheel is not rotated while the clockspring is locked in position.

Note! Make sure that the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.
