Infotainment levels upgrading
INTRODUCTION
- NOTE! Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.

Infotainment levels upgrading
Applies to cars with automatic gearbox
- Turn the ignition key to position II.
Applies to all models
- Move the gear selector lever to its rearmost position.
- Carefully pry off the gear level panel at the rear edge using a plastic weatherstrip tool and pull it backwards to access the screws for the climate control panel.
Applies to cars with manual gearbox
- Turn the ignition switch to position 0.
Applies to all models
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.
Note! Wait at least three minutes before disassembling the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.
- Remove the two screws holding the bracket to the climate control panel and the control module.
Note! Pull out the bracket at the lower edge and detach it from the top edge of the centre console.
- Disconnect the connectors from the climate control panel, control module and CD player.
Illustrations A and B
- Position the bracket with control module and climate control panel appropriately.
- Remove the four screws on the reverse that hold the control module by the bracket.
- Depress the four catches in the sides of the control module so that they release and pull out the control module carefully.
- Remove the two screws, pull out the CD player and place to one side. It will not be reused.
- Take a new CD player from the kit, install and tighten using the existing screws.
- Connect the connectors to the control module, climate control panel and CD player and reinstall the unit in the centre console. Ensure that the wiring on the reverse is correctly positioned and is not at risk of being trapped or chafed.
Note! Fibre-optic cables may not be bent with a radius less than 25 mm (1").
- Turn the ignition key to position II.
- Reconnect the battery negative lead.
- Download the software for the accessory's function following the service information in VIDA.
