Wrong switches mounted

Checking the component and wiring
The switches for ON CALL and SOS are located on the dashboard under the hazard warning light switch. These switches regard the Volvo on Call services in the Phone module (PHM). If the Phone module (PHM) does not have the Volvo on Call services, these switches will not be present. To check which services the Phone module (PHM) supports, click the symbol for VCT2000.
If the Phone module (PHM) does not support the Volvo on Call services, the switches in the console must be removed.

- Ignition off.
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Check the car phone by making a call.
Read diagnostic trouble codes by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
Check that the current DTC has disappeared or changed status from permanent to intermittent fault.
