Removal

Note! First read the instructions for working with the fuel system. Refer to:

Remove the battery cable. See Refer to: Battery disconnecting and connecting Battery Disconnecting and Connecting

Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling system - draining, charging and bleeding, B6304T4 Service and Repair

Remove the engine coolant heater's exhaust pipe. Refer to: Fuel Fired Booster Heater Exhaust Pipe Service and Repair






Note! Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.






Note! Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.






Remove the following items:
1. Torque: M6, 10 Nm

2. The electrical connectors, x3.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure

Order software according to: 30773453.

Carry out a performance test on the engine coolant heater. Refer to: Fuel-powered preheater, checking .
